The Swiss Professional Association of Female and Male Nurses, Zurich, Glarus and Schaffhausen Section, was founded in 1978 and advocates for the concerns of nursing and nursing staff in the Health Directorate, on committees and in working groups.
The services of SBK ZH/GL/SH include legal advice, including legal protection, a wide range of training courses and individual advice, coaching and support. Members benefit from a wide range of offers, collective agreements and discounts. The professional association provides ongoing information on the latest developments in professional policy.
SBK ZH/GL/SH and private Care AG work together as educational partners. The common understanding of high-quality care and qualified care training is reflected in the recognition procedure for training qualifications at tertiary level and upper secondary level and in the specialized further training courses on offer.

The Department of Health at Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences Switzerland offers qualified training and further education courses leading to Bachelor and Master of Science FH degrees as well as MAS, DAS and CAS.
It teaches current best practice in its educational programs and ensures the transfer of knowledge between research, teaching, continuing education and practice. Its courses are aimed at students who want to combine their studies with a career or family life and have a high level of life and professional experience.
